Child-resistant packaging or CR packaging is special packaging used to reduce the risk of children ingesting hazardous materials. This is often accomplished by the use of a special safety cap.
“Push down and turn.” Keep liquids out of the wrong hands.
At CPM, we offer child resistant packaging that have been tested and certified by third-party agencies to meet US federal test requirements provided in the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, (CFR 16, Part 1700), and as referenced by A.S.T.M. D3475.
Our ribbed child resistant caps are composed of durable polypropylene and include PE liners that assist with providing excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, alcohols, oils, household cosmetics, and aqueous products.
These polypropylene child resistant caps are with PE liners for an added layer of security. Generally, the top of these child resistant caps is molded with the universal picture directing customers to push down and turn the plastic caps to open the packages. You could also customize it with your own design.
