A tote bag is a large and often unfastened bag with parallel handles that emerge from the sides of its pouch. It has become quite the functional accessory due to their simple versatility and ease of use.
In 2015 we expanded our manufacturing capablity to tote bag. A tote bag is often made of cotton or linen. Cotton is derived from the cotton plant, and linen is derived from the flax plant. Cotton is comparatively more popular than linen.
At CPM, we are able to customize a variety of bag types such as tote bag, drawstring bag, backpack, etc. We have all the printing methods covered, like digital printing, silk screen printing, heat transfer and embroidery.
What is the difference between cotton and canvas tote bag?
What is canvas? It’s actually not the material of the fabric but a style of the fabric’s weave. Because cotton is more popular than linen, generally the canvas refers to the fabric material woven out of cotton through a special weaving process and it is more duable and sturdier than cotton.
Every printing method work well on both cotton and canvas. However, as cotton is slightly softer the printing effect comes out better.
In short, cotton tote bags are strong enough for daily use and they present your design better. But you should handle with them carefully. If you need the bag to be more durable and can withstand continuous wear and tear, canvas is a better option. Please rest assured both cotton and canvas are environmental-friendly due to its reusablility.
